Swim Diapers by Happy Heiny's

Cloth Swim Diapers are reusable, gentle on babies skin, quick drying, quard against rashes, contain no chemicals, and are available in many adorable prints & solids.

Cloth Swim Diapers are an excellent alternative to chemical laiden disposables. Just a few of the benefits of chosing a cloth diaper are:

  • No chemicals!
  • Reusable, so you save money!
  • Quick dry fleece guards against rashes!
  • Adorable prints! Be prepared to tell other parents where you got this adorable diaper!

Reusable

Yes, these diapers can be used over & over again. These are Training Pants & Cloth Diapers that work excellent as Swim Diapers. We use them on our little one in the pool and have never had a problem! The best part is that the pull-up diaper can later be used as Training Pants during the potty training stage and if you have ever been curious about cloth diapers, now is your chance to give it a try.

How to Care for

Run the diaper through a pre-rinse cycle on cold without any detergent. Then run it on a full cycle using hot water with half the recommended dosage of detergent. We recommend Allen's Naturally or Sensi-Clean. Diaper can then be air dried over a chair or clothesline or even put in the dryer on low/no heat for 10 minutes. Caution: fabric softners & bleach can damage the diaper and liners. More Care Information

Rashes

We used disposables until we found out about these. I can't even begin to tell you about the rashes that the disposable swim diapers caused. They did not let my child's skin breathe and looked quite uncomfortable. These cloth diapers are very breathable and will quickly dry due to the quick-dry fleece that is against your baby's skin.

Absorbability

Okay, here is the big questions.... "But does it catch everything?"

Let's talk about disposables first. Once those get wet all of the chemicals on the inside quickly fill up with pool water. Once that happens it is not going to absorb any urine.

On our diapers it is advisable to put a liner or hand towel in their pocket so that they absorb any urine on your way to the pool. After exiting the pool the liner easily exchanged for a new one and you are set to go. It is not necessary though to put a liner in though, depending on your situation. The cloth diapers & trainers will catch any solids, provided they are in the correct size.
